DELTA FIREARMS INSTRUCTION

BIO

Delta means the "CHANGE" and here at Delta Firearms Instruction, we think that the "average Joe or Jane" can become self-reliant, efficient, and responsible in self-protection. Our goal is to pass along the skills we acquired in the military in a safe and fun environment so that you can feel confident in defending yourself and your loved ones, should ever the need arise.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." -Aristotle

What Our Classes Cover

Control Grouping:

Learn how to maintain a steady fire pattern with & without movement.

Control Grouping will consist of an individual's ability to maintain a steady fire pattern during a fixed static line and during movements. Each person will maintain a range to target and target acquisitions during this phase. During Control Grouping Instruction, the class will have a strong line of communication during certain variables and pressure dynamics.

Squad Movement:

Learn how to move in a team as one mobile unit.

Squad Movement is a team phase that consists of combat scenario-based threats that helps a team understand how to move as one mobile unit. Teams will learn prevention, protection, pursue, and response through advancing fire lines and target engagement. The squad will work on one fire line and maintain equal movement and spacing during live-fire squad movements.

Break Cover Fire:

Learn how to advance upon an enemy position while minimizing risk.

Break Cover Fire situation is a military-based model which has the objective of disrupting the enemy's decision-making skills by advancing through uncertain realities and conditions. All team members will advance and engage the active location through sectors of fire while dividing small or large groups through team management to neutralize the threat as soon as possible.

Firearm Transitions:

Practice rifle to sidearm, sidearm to rifle and tactical reload and speed load.

Combat/Self Defense:

Each camp will learn hand-to-hand training and hand-to-weapons training.

Field Medical Training:

Each camp will go through a combat medical training skills course that will help each student learn basic medical skills, how to extract the wounded, and help reduce the risk of potentially life-threatening injuries. Each medical course will be taught by an army combat medic veteran who is currently a certified EMT.
